Murderkill Tributary Action Team

Murderkill Tributary Action Team members working with Lyle JonesFormed in the summer of 2001-2008, the Murderkill Tributary Action Team is the youngest in Delaware. Our inaugural meeting took place shortly before the TMDLs for our watershed were established. Although the TMDL is being challenged, we are moving toward recommending a Pollution Control Strategy.

Since being convened by the Killens Pond State Park, we've held regular meetings at the Park's offices---a reminder of the ecological gems that our watershed offers---and of what we could all lose if today's pollution levels continue unabated.

We've begun the process of sorting out our watershed's challenges, seeking your comment and developing pollution-control strategies. We're going to hold two public forums this summer, so keep your eye on our Calendar of Events for times and locations!
