River Association Begins
Educational Visits to Watershed Schools
Recent
visits to St. Andrew's School, Silver
Lake Elementary School, and Redding
Middle School kicked off
the Appoquinimink River Association's campaign of watershed education
for area students. Targeting
grades 5 - 12,
we're talking to classes about the natural wonders of the
Appoquinimink Watershed, the types of pollution that are challenging
our water quality, and things that they can do in their own homes
to help protect our rivers, lakes and ponds.
